But why not ? I occasionally test a variety of Windows audio apps under 
WINE, though I've not kept current with the recent WINE releases. And as 
many here know, I'm extremely wedded to Sequencer Plus Gold, a MIDI 
sequencer I run under DOSemu. RG and MusE are truly wonderful apps, but 
I've invested quite a lot of time into mastering Seq+ and it suits my 
needs perfectly. If it runs under a Linux-based DOS emulation 
environment then I'm a very happy camper, even moreso since I don't even 
need a bona fide MS-DOS installation (DOSemu works beautifully with 
FreeDOS).

Btw, AudioMulch works nicely with WINE too.

Perhaps a page similar to the "Linux & VST" list is approaching 
do-ability ? It could be a listing of Windoze soundapps that run under 
WINE, how well they run, what it takes, etc. Such a page might be a 
helpful reference for WINE developers too.

And maybe for every Windows app you get running you donate an amount 
equal to its price to the open-source alternative of your choice ? Oooh, 
wicked Dave ! ;-)
