There's two ways that I was able to unpack it. One was to cd to the 
directory were "muse-0.7.1fixed.tar.bz2" was, then issue the command:

tar xvofj muse-0.7.1fixed.tar.bz2

I also right-clicked on the file (in KDE) and choose "extract here" and 
it... ummm... extracted there (hehe).
