As a sound man in previous life, I had several fixes for this....all 
which were also considered "rude" by the talent. :)   And additionally 
as a guitar player myself (100w Boogie, 60w Music Man) it is also 
absolutely unneccesary with the advent of power soaks, etc.

Both ignorant AND rude! :)
