[linux-audio-user] XRUNS at 96000

When I set qjackctl to 96000 I am getting thousands of XRUNS. I am running 
demudi with the preempt patched kernel with my sound card priority set to 99 
and jack set to 70. Anyone have any ideas what I can do to fix this?

My machine spec is as follows:
AMD Athlon XP 3200+
1 GB RAM
nVidia Chip set
M-Audio Audiophile 2496

I figure that my system should be able to handle this without problems.
