I also bought a Creative/E-MU Xboard49 and it worked right after I
plugged it into my USB port, using Ubuntu Breezy. Creative themselves
told me it wouldn't work, as well as other posts on mailing lists I
saw on the net. Well, someone did some work since then. At that time I
only wanted a decent MIDI controller and didn't care about USB. It's
just an extra bonus to me that it works. :)
