[linux-audio-user] How to get SPDIF working with ALSA and M-Audio2496

I have spdif out working on my Audiophile 2496 via Envy-24. 
Unfortunately I wont be home until this evening.  At that point I'll
send you my alsa config files.  I am on PlanetCCMRA Fedora Core 3 and
the card worked without any fiddling on my part.
