Again, the ALSA conversion process is not in the final product, only in 
the monitoring, which is fine since I will be testing on other devices 
anyway. I figured downsampling after mixdown before mastering would give 
me better quality since compression and equalization would compensate 
for downsampling noise. This is only a hypothesis though, which I am 
testing now.
