[linux-audio-user] Gentoo: Alsa/Snd-usb-audio not working anymore

AFAIR alsaconf is not able to configure USB cards at all.

Check the following:
/etc/init.d/alsasound status
modprobe snd_usb_audio
cat /proc/asound/cards
