Sorry, I just would like to post the /var/log/syslog messages in a
more clean way (without unrelated stuff):

Apr  3 12:25:14 hector-laptop kernel: [  273.803000] usb 1-2: new full
speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
Apr  3 12:25:14 hector-laptop kernel: [  273.952000] usb 1-2:
configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
Apr  3 12:25:14 hector-laptop madfuload: cannot open
/proc/bus/usb/001/002: No such file or directory

Basically that's it. Hope someone can help. Also I just found that buy
issuing a sudo /etc/init.d/udev restart with the device plugged it
gets activated properly (after madfu failing).
