Hm.  Empirical evidence shows that in fact many DSSI plugins -- including at 
least one of mine -- do work with analyseplugin.  I guess that means they do 
expose a LADSPA descriptor.  Shows what I know.

(If I had a good memory, I could be unstoppable.  Or at least less stoppable.)
