[linux-audio-user] Multiplatform Audacity-alike with compressed session files (like Garageband)

Sorry, I meant that Audacity is close, for the very fact that it's
very easy to install on all platforms.  What is missing is the
compressed audio files, I think.  Or does someone know how to do that
in Audacity?
