Current libsndfile (1.0.17) does support flac and the next version
1.0.18 will even ship with a version of the flac sources known to
work with libsndfile (wasn't a problem with Linux but was a problem
with other less sane platforms).
libsndfile currently doesn't support any format in an Ogg container
(not even OggFlac). Someone did start work on supporting Ogg
Vorbis and Speex, but it was never completed. There are some issues
with Ogg being a streaming format which makes it difficult to shoe
horm into libsndfile.

Someone is working on getting Ardour running on 'doze. Tim, you here?
