[linux-audio-user] midi won't play although sound works

Hey, I'm game!

This is what I have:
carlyle:/usr/share/sounds/sf2 # ls -1
README-bank
ch12msup.bnk
default-2m.bnk
emu8m.bnk
setfx-sample.cfg
test.bnk
xgdefault.bnk
xgdrum.bnk
xgmap.bnk
xgsfx.bnk

I've tried loading a couple of the bank files but it doesn't seem to change 
anything.
