That's just childish. And I say that as 28 years old with only few years 
of interest in linux audio.

You are way too fast to make up groups like that.
Ever considered that you actually deal with a bunch of individuals whos 
optinions on any little detail might be different or not?

I didn't see anyone saying closed source would be evil. There are 
disadvantages to closed source and some of use are not willing to 
accept them, either generally or in certain cases.

We saw valid and rational arguments on the pros and cons of starting 
new projects instead of joining established ones. Can't you just take 
them without going all emotional and setting up a fence?

So not being able to redistribute the VST SDK or native Linux VSTs in  
binary form is no problem if you are just pragmatic?
What is pragmatic about ignoring legal problems?
