[LAU] recording stream to mp3

Hi

I'd like to be able to record a stream (in jack) directly to mp3 (or 
ogg). A great thing would be if I could split the recording into 
separate files while recording, for instance by pressing a key-combo 
between tracks.

Does such a thing exist?
