[LAU] A while back someone was looking for an audio player that works fine with Linux?

Just FYI,

Almost all the new generation of players will support ogg. The reason is
that in the past sigmatel did not provide drivers for ogg format. However
now they do and it won't take long for the market to be saturated with the
newest chipsets. Say about 1 year max. The drivers have been shipping for
about 6 - 12 months but it takes some time for the manufacturers to catch
up. They also have considerable gains in battery life so if you can wait
for the next gen portable music players it will be worth it.

Of course batteries will hopefully be made redundant by orbo when it is
made publicly available.

Cheers.
