[LAU] TAP and other LADSPA plugins cause... dead silence?

    In Ardour have you noticed that output on the channel that has the
TAP plugin goes to ridiculous levels?  This is happening for me when
using the CAPS EQ and TAP Reverberator or Stereo Echo.  All output stops
until I mute the offending channel.  I can usually remove the plugins,
reinsert them, and it will work fine for a while.  The problem for me is
definitely NOT CPU usage.  I've monitored that very closely.  I have no
idea what's causing this but it is annoying.
