[LAU] How to connect to an existing ecasound daemon?

Hi!
  Thanks guys. It's a pine 4.63 Paul. an it worked before, but something got 
screwed. I'll try to have a go at it. Thanks Bengt, I took a look at the site, 
and although I can't install anything new, it may still be of help. I think 
our admin did something different.
