[LAU] realtime kernel

I have a laptop with athlon 64 1.8Ghz and couldn't feel any ferformance 
difference between timer 1000 Hz vs. lower res. If you keep the lower 
resolution of the default 250 Hz Rosegarden will complain, so if you 
decide to use Rg it's no question...
