[LAU] : Jackd and Qjackctl precision...

[Mysth-R]

Hi all,

I would like to know some things that I never understood. And I would like
to know exactly what are they.
In qjackctl Settings, there are these parameters :

* No Memory Lock
* Unlock Memory
* Soft Mode
* Monitor
* H/W Monitor
* H/W Meter

* Timeout
* Start Delay


Is there a very kind person here that could explain me in simple words (I am
french) what are these settings for, and how can I set them in the best way
?

I think that Memory lock refers to some libraries like GTK+, QT, wine, etc.
But it is too theorical for me.
I Know that Timeout refers to the clilents connexion, but I can't see
exactly what does it meens.
