[LAU] Overwhelming number of xruns in Ubuntustudio

Aside, I've been battling with a TOshiba Satellite P200 with Intel HDA
soundcard. after working through many howto's and still getting incredible
numbers of xruns, I changed to 3 periods per buffer and now I have none.
Just thought someone might like to know...
