[LAU] USB midi interface that works

The long, dangling midi cables permanently attached bug me a bit.  When
trying to use a joystick converter midi cable, those extra-long cables
always caused problems.

I'm considering the following:

Emu XMidi 2x2 (no dangling cables)
Eridol UM-2EX (attached USB cable, but has MIDI jacks)
M-Audio Midisport 1x1 (no dangling cables, but requires firmware loader)

Anyone here have an opinion on the Eridol/Roland adapter?
