Interesting.  I've doubled vocals.  But, I've never managed those 
results.  Maybe I wasn't trying hard enough.  So, how did you figure 
out what the mechanism is?  Is there something you're viewing in 
either the time waveform or in the FFT?  Maybe you just used your 
ears?
