Well, as one of the few folk that used Xerox's attempt to commercialize 
the GUI they developed at PARC - in the form of a documentation 
workstation they tried to sell for huge amounts of money - Jobs and 
Apple made it into something usable. The Xerox version simply WASN'T usable.
