the new look is a compile time option and it's on by default. this is 
regarding the new gradient fx eye-candy.

if you're referring to the dark color theme in the screenshot, that's 
not a qtractor option. it's just that i'm using a dark color theme on 
kde4 now :)

btw, the color scheme is the one named as "Wonton Soup" in KDE4/System 
Settings/Appearance/Colors :)
