[LAU] Need to convert 24bit/48000 to 16bit/44100 stereo on linux

Hi!
  Sox should be 24bit capable. If not take the sndfile suite, see here:
http://www.mega-nerd.com/libsndfile/
  As you know sox works with command-li9ne, so do the sndfile-* utilities.
  To get it easier, check your distros packages, it should be there.
