Be careful; lots of laptop chipsets are unusable for low latency work
due to excessive use of SMM traps for things like power management.
The typical symptom is xruns at regular intervals, when querying
battery status, when plugging or unplugging AC power cord, etc.

Presumably the hardware on the ADK site has been verified free of SMM
problems, singing capacitors, poor shielding, and all the other common
issues that make many laptops unusable for pro audio.
