Oh sure, but I was just surprised by the idea that some of them
could have all that training, yet be allegedly unable to
just pick up their instrument and play whatever they want without
having to have a written score to perform it from.

But then, I guess it's no different from a trained actor
who is nevertheless tongue-tied without a script.
