the internal architecture is now in place, but nothing has been done on
top of it. the basic change is to create a new way to route audio
without it being visible to JACK. in the (near-ish) future, every new
track will get a new send built using these "internal ports" to deliver
audio to every bus. you will be able to activate/deactivate these sends
using a dedicated GUI element, and control them. 

the specific feature mentioned above will be an extension to that work.
