[LAU] default output, 1010LT

Hi,


situation:  M-audio 1010LT with a defective output 0 cable, and I've
been trying to
get alsa to send output on 2&3 as I only have 2 speakers.  I could do
this windows by
setting the default output of the device in sound control panel but I'm
at a loss for linux (suse 10.3). Can this be done using
envy24control? (how?)

help please --  I'm completely baffled!
