[LAU] Need hardware and software sugestions

The 9-pin interface is for the breakout cable (supplied) for MIDI and digital signal I/O...
if you want 4 inputs you might need the 1010 or similar but stay away
from the Audiophile 192, it is not supported. I plug a cheap Behringer
mixer into the stereo ins of the 2496 to get more inputs.
Dunno about microphones!
