Hi everyone,

I've written a blog post about my efforts to get an easy-to-maintain
stable Linux system up-and-running, you can find the post here:

No surprises here, just some simple instructions on how to turn Ubuntu
Hardy into a multimedia studio, aimed at those who don't know where to
start.
