My first tests were with the entire suite of http://www.dskmusic.com/blog/

The only major difference from an old version of LMMS (0.3.x) and a new one
now is the UI response, which is sub-optimal.

True, especially if you're running a full-time DAW it'd be a pain to keep
switching between the two subsystems.

Priceless =p

But I don't think that's a joke, it's possible, at least more so for OO as
the need for office productivity and multimedia "integration" grows.
