Firstly check your path. It's strange for me you have:
/usr/local/share/usb/maudio/midisport-firmware-1.2/MidiSport4x4.ihx
instead of
/usr/local/share/usb/maudio/MidiSport4x4.ihx
but it's up to you.

Secondly check again lsusb for the values of /proc/bus/usb/
If you have MidiSport plugged in an another slot or you have rebooted
the values are changed sometimes. Check it each time.

> /usr/local/share/usb/maudio/midisport-firmware-1.2/MidiSport4x4.ihx
> tux ~ # modprobe snd-usb-audio
> FATAL: Module snd_usb_audio not found.

Did you check  CONFIG_SND_USB_AUDIO=m   (or *) in your kernel config?
Did you recompile your kernel?
