I'm not using NtEd as a midi sequencer.  The reason I mentioned JACK and
latency is that a beginner wanting to try out Rosegarden (as I did) will
encounter them.  It appears that this will also apply to MuseScore in the
future (see Werner Schweer's posts in this thread).
