Are you interested in seeing this go into Debian? Do you need a
Debian maintainer [0]? If so, I would suggest that you do not ship
a debian/ directory in the tarball. Having one on the Git repo
is fine, but shipping one in the tarball makes life a little
more difficult for whoever maintains if for Debian.
