So then we agree - it's not necessarily crazy. Maybe we just need a
bit more info.

One thing I couldn't tell was whether he possibly had other room mics
not shown in the picture? I didn't try very hard but I only counted 6
mics on stage. Possibly he had an X-Y pair out in the hall somewhere?

It would be interesting if Giorgio could supply a room layout picture
showing where the mics were, or maybe just a mix list?

What a beautiful room by the way. Few and far between here in America.
