Hi there
I have a problem with jack. I have a Edirol fa-101 firewire soundcard on amd
processer (2500+) with 512Mb RAM. If i have low frames/period setting ( 128)
jack shots down after short time (2 - 20 sec or almost instantly if I run a
program; ardour or openoffice) or if I have a high frames/period setting
(1024) I get xruns.

I have tried almost every setting possible and tried changing nice values on
the firewire card and a lot of other stuff.

Can anyone help?

Kind Regards Thomas
