[LAU] building jcgui

Hi, I am trying to build the latest jcgui on gentoo and it's not
finding my installation of jack:

idragosani at localhost ~/src/jcgui-0.7 $ jackd --version

Jack 1.9.5 was built and installed from source, so everything should
be there. What am I doing wrong?
