I could answer that but I'm not going to. I've met with them a couple
of times. The very quick summary is that (a) they don't believe there
is much of a market (b) supporting Linux as a generic entity with
commercial software is way, way too much work (as I can attest with
some attempts at this with Ardour). There's not much point in arguing
either of these items because their assessment of things is not likely
to change any time soon.

They do support JACK on OS X, which is at least a nod in the right direction.
