Yes.  For the newer consoles, you'll need:

    * Mixxx 1.8.x
    * The vender-supplied kernel module, which you'll
      need to compile yourself.

This out-of-tree kernel module won't compile with a recent 
kernel... but patching it to work isn't rocket science.
