[LAU] OT: 64 vs 32 bit?

Running a 64-bit OS has noticeable performance improvements 
in processing audio (especially encoding/decoding) and in 
compiling source code (C/C++).

Other than that, most folks don't notice any performance 
difference between 32/64-bit modes.
