 yes, following torbenh's hint by the letter you may try and edit 
 src/qtractorLv2Plugin.cpp, line 1027,

 from:
 	GDK_WINDOW_XID(gtk_widget_get_window(m_pGtkWindow)));

 to:
 	GDK_WINDOW_XID(m_pGtkWindow->window));

 but i disclaim any guarantee on that or whether it suffices (no gtk 
 intelligence here, quite the opposite:)
