PS: I've got some elCheapo 6.3 jacks that are very good and they need
less 'room' than Neutrik does. For a homerecording studio in a rental
flat, fucking 3 cm could be important. I very often need to cut cable
reliefs, because they just where 1 cm to long. In my flat I've got a
room for music only, anyway, room measured in cm is an issue.

At the moment my Matrix-1000 and my Behringer ADA8000 don't fit very
good to the shelf, since there isn't enough space between the wall and
the connectors. Some other equipment that needs more space is mounted to
have enough space for any connector.

For a home studio 'room' can become a very serious issue. Friends would
lend me much better mixers than the one I've got, but I don't have the
room to use the mixers they don't need.
