[LAU] Delta 44 on recent motherboard

Hi,

I bought a new PC with a Gigabyte PH67 UD3 B3 mobo after my old one died.
I own a Delta 44 so I needed PCI slots. It was hard to find a mobo with
PCI slots, it seems to be completely deprecated (same for IDE).
Back to home the tragedy started, the Delta does not work at all, kernel
error message is :

ICE1712 0000:05:00.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 19 (level, low) -> IRQ 19
invalid EEPROM (size = 255)
ICE1712 0000:05:00.0: PCI INT A disabled
ICE1712: probe of 0000:05:00.0 failed with error -5

If I try to reload the module the computer crash (no more mouse, numlock
does not respond)

I tried some black magic :
- change PCI slot
- disable mobo sound chip

I don't have windows but I don't think it would perform better.

I suspect an incurable motherboard incompatibility :(
Note that my Delta is a bit old, I can see REV-D on the PCB with a 2003
copyright.

This post is my last chance, Delta44 is the perfect card for my usage,
convenient, reliable and extremely well supported on linux.

My system is Ubuntu 11.04 x64 with 2.6.38-8-generic kernel, the problem
was here also with a 32bits ubuntu 10.10. There is some lspci output at
the end.

Many Thanks.
