sorry for the delay
i updated the contest page <http://hydrogen.popez.org/hcms/node/2035>
the instrument <> GM mapping is in fact already described in the manual
(see http://www.hydrogen-music.org/hcms/node/5#sect.pattern_editor.drumkit)
there is however nothing in the manual that encourages the user to comply
with the GM mapping > i'll add that asap
