Well, I didn't like GNOME2, either, so in my opinion the only real 
"progress" GNOME could show me would be to disappear.

Maybe in GNOME4 they'll finally realize the real, never-mentioned-goal 
of the GNOME design team: to remove ALL user functionality ...
