[LAU] Double-Blind Composition (WAS: Re: creating open source sample libs)

This conversation made me think of a fun experiment.  It's probably not
original.

Two or more people could create a multi-sampled instrument and a  MIDI file
to play on it in isolation.  The only other givens would need to be the
range the sample mappings would cover and a deadline.
