How large is the sample set?

I am interested in providing a library portal for high quality open source
samples specifically catering to Linux applications.

I know there are several sites that provide samples but as far as I know
there is nothing that is targeted directly at Linux Audio Applications.

If there is I see no reason why there cannot be another one too...
