[LAU] hdsp emergency

Hi list - i have an installation that's been running for a week and has
suddenly failed.

Uses ubuntu 11.10 and a hdsp/multiface setup. What is happening is Jack
is failing to start

There is a "D-BUS: JACK server could not be started" error when QjackCtl
is launched and within the messages window there are the following
errors/messages:

12:27:20.152 Patchbay activated.
12:27:20.155 Statistics reset.
12:27:20.166 ALSA connection change.
12:27:20.174 D-BUS: Service is available (org.jackaudio.service aka
jackdbus).
12:27:20.261 D-BUS: JACK server could not be started. Sorry
